Nokia should spin off the generic cell phone business, because that is still a cash earner, slash the rest of the company to the bone, then try to restart a company that makes products that people want. Maybe move the headquarters to Cupertino.

Their great technology is hardware. This gives them a decent OS finally. And it gives Microsoft a hardware platform with serious global reach and name recognition. This is a win for both companies and the customers because it will give some serious competition to the rest of the market.
