It was never meant to be. If they had been able to work out some extra conveniences for the members I could have seen it being more successful (shoe scan for instance), though alas something did not give.

What happens now to FLO Card, which was a separate company, but as I understand it the members could use the clear terminals

Just got this email

Mods please feel free to move to appropriate forum since it is not just Delta related but thought with the Delta Do on the horizon and them being a partner it would be a good place to start.


Clear to Cease Operations
Dear MM/PM Widget,

At 11:00 p.m. PST today, Clear will cease operations. Clear's parent company, Verified Identity Pass, Inc. has been unable to negotiate an agreement with its senior creditor to continue operations.

After today, Clear lanes will be unavailable.

Major bummer and $300+ down the drain

I had no idea so many people used/loved CLEAR. I never saw anyone using the lanes, which typically had 2-3 very bored-looking workers standing around. That made me rather unsurprised at this outcome.
