How to inflate the Komfort Kollar

I recently purchased a Komfort Kollar inflatable neckrest based on the many recommendations in this forum. But I can't figure out how to inflate it! I can only get it to inflate partially (about 30%). Anyone have any helpful tips?

Mine works like any other pillow, blowing it up like a beach ball. It should blow up fully, perhaps a leak or a faulty valve?

I think you may have a defective product.

Good luck,

Ned

Try squeezing the inflation valve slightly at the base before inflating.

I tried squeezing the base but it didn't help.

I should update this. I contacted Magellan, and they said my product sounded defective. They sent me a replacement and it worked fine. In the end, I decided I didn't like the Komfort Kollar too much. It's great for sleeping, but hard to do anything else while you're wearing it, so reading and gradually drifting off to sleep is not easy. I switched to a more typical inflatable pillow from Samsonite.

Thanks for letting us know. My husband has lost 2 Komfort Collars on flights. He just doesn't think to look for his stuff.
