Vistor Medical Insurance for US
I'll be heading to the US for about a month long trip and was wondering if there was any US based insurance agency/company that would provide a medical insurance policy to a non-citizen/non-resident whereby should there be the need to seek medical treatment at a hospital or doctors that would allow them to bill the insurance company directly as opposed to say a travel medical insurance policy I could get back home where I'd have to pay first and claim for reimbursement later.
Not that I'm planning on getting any medical treatment while I'm on vacation but it would be nice to have peace of mind that should anything happen (knock on wood nothing does) that I won't have to be worried about the extremely high medical fees for an uninsured which is what I essentially would be even if I had a travel medical insurance policy which is unlikely to be recognized in the US.
