Tumi Clearance/Sample Sale to noon (eastern) on Monday the 30th

One of those members only online websites.

They were on a late night "what's happening in your area" show and if you go in through

www.gilt.com/lxtv

and register you are automatically a member. They have Tumi as part of their sale this weekend till noon on Monday, November 30.

For example, the

T TECH POLYCARBONATE WHEELED BUSINESS CASE

which is available for $249 in many places is $179.

No clue about shipping or any of that, their server is overloaded, probably thanks to the show.

Saw that. Prices are good; about half off from retail. Site is up as of this posting.

If you like brown luggage, there are some good deals to be had here, although a fair bit of the inventory are things Tumi appears to be trying to get rid of.

The best deal is the lightweight international carry-on (20.75"), which is a relatively new model and looks pretty good in the brown. $248 is a steal for the bag, although I do have to warn that the Tumi light seems to me to be a "love it or hate it" proposition.

I have one in the black and like it, but be aware that the tradeoff for the noticeably lighter weight is that it feels like just a step above a softsided bag. But I am sure Tumi would say that's an engineering feature and that it's just as tough. No suiter in this bag, either, although you could still stick one in the zip pocket of the lid.
