Need help re: speech on how to take better pictures...

As the title says, I'm writing and presenting a 7 minute speech on how to take better pictures next Thursday and I figured I'd start with the best resource I know for finding resources...Flyertalk!

I need at least one verifiable source (and no, wikipedia is NOT an option). Doing a search on Google equates to four million hits and I don't want to wade through them all (yes, I'm lazy...). So, my question to the Flyertalk photo geniuses...what are some resources you rely on when you are looking at how to improve your photography skills?

I also need visuals, but I'm going to use some of my better work for that, so I have that covered.

I know not everyone is going to agree with me. i'd go for ken rockwell. to a certain point i'd say have the photographer's own style.
Anyway, even if you dont like what he says/does, there's qutie a few photographers he links to.

Is this a Toastmasters speech assignement? Just the wonderings of an ACB.

No, it's actually for my Speech class at Portland State University.

But blah...I should have posted my idea on the class board last night instead of choosing to go to bed...lol...someone else is going to be doing the photography arena...so I have to figure out something else. (I'll still take suggestions though because I know my photography needs improvement.)

Ack, no longer. I guess one of the three links. I hope all of the video tutorials weren't lost.
