"Air Viet Nam" A380 sitting on the desk of the former Vice President's Desk in Independence Palace...a building that is entirely otherwise stuck in the late 60s.

1) Insert the link to the smaller image you want to display in the thread using the "insert image" function. It should drop a link into the post surrounded by IMG tags, like: [img]http://website.com/image_small.jpg[/img]
2) Highlight that full line of text, including the tags all the way from the opening [ to the closing ], click the "insert link" button, and paste the link to the larger version of the image.

You should end up with the link to the smaller image surrounded by a URL tag that links to the larger image. This turns the smaller image into a clickable link, and clicking it opens the larger image.

It would be nice if the vBulletin software handled this more gracefully, but...

Just curious if anyone knows. Is this a cargo plane that MH didn't write "Cargo" on? It was parked near the normal passenger aircraft but the windows are all covered up.

None of the 747-400s say cargo on them. Its definitely a freighter though. You can see the cargo door behind the wing

A minor tribute to Lufthansa's retirement of their 737 fleet. Last Bobby-bird goes into retirement on October 29.....

It´s clearly a B 707.
(the DC-8 vertical stabilizer looks totally different ...)

Busy Day at LAX!

Photographer Mike Kelley has made some fascinating composite photographs of planes taking off and landing at LAX. A spotters delight!
