For the red/white/blue tails I put this AA, AF and then BA.

NB: I have little to no nationalism or patriotism so doesn't affect my ranking.

While taking a vacation near SFO

Was staying in Cupertino on a weekend getaway, decided I had to do some planespotting @ SFO:

N171UA (UA869 SFO-HKG) with some friends, N36247 (UAL566 SEA-SFO) & N37408 (UA1003 IAH-SFO)

G-BYGA coming around on its way from London (BA285 LHR-SFO):

Maho Beach/St. Maarten

I was in St. Maarten for a little while last week, so I had to visit every aviation enthusiast's favorite beach and take a photo...

The hour or so that I was there, everyone was landing on 28L/R, and most were taking off via 1L/R.

I'm not that knowledgeable when it comes to that kind of stuff, heck I'm not even sure I got the runway names/numbers right.

I was just surprised because I thought the heavies almost always went off the 28s (which are also the normal arrival runways). With that 744 sitting there, it looks like the 738s are landing on the 19s, which seems really unusual. If the 744 was departing the 1s, then this looks normal. Thanks for sharing!
