"View from Your Hotel Room" [Was TPF Contest]

It's the start of a new week, and so I thought it might be nice to have a new "contest" - this one of Views from Your Hotel Room. I actually got this idea from looking at some of kuroneko's photos in the FT Flickr group.

Here are my contributions:

View from the Amsterdam Hilton (2006):

View from the Edgewater Hotel, Seattle (2004):

Well, I guess this means I'm forced to post the ones I uploaded.

Here are my hotel room views:

1) View of the Franzosischer Dom on the Gendarmenmarkt from the window of my room at the Hilton Berlin (I'm told that you can pretty much expect at least an updgrade to the Gendarmenmarkt view as a gold member):

2) View of Petronas Towers from my hotel room, but I'm not 100% sure which hotel! I think it might be from the Pan Pacific Kuala Lumpur or maybe the Melia Kuala Lumpur. Would love it someone recognizes this hotel room view (distinctive window frame) and can identify it.

3) View from the window of the Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald, Switzerland: http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1186/...2cd19c8355.jpg

Savannah, GA - going out of the port of savannah

From the Hyatt Savannah, one of the ugliest hotels I've had the pleasure of staying at recently.

You took this picture and no "Men in Black" came to rip the film from your camera?

So, birdstrike, does that gull just hang outside your window all day in that exact pose?

Gull? I was taking a picture of a Washington State Ferry coming into the Seattle Pier 52 Terminal.

Doh! Another shot ruined. Don't you hate it when things just fly into the frame?
