Oceans and Mountains with little to no other travelers nearby. I hate when a random head pops in my shot and I also hate rushing a shot.

Try Bora Bora.

For me a beautiful scene is a bustling and chaotic market, somewhere in a provincial town in Asia, colour and flavour everywhere.

For others, a beautiful scenery is something more peaceful. :-)

I think I'm trying to say that beauty lies in variety. In photography anyway.

There are many, many places around the world that provide excellent photo opportunities. And almost everywhere, you can make your own.

Personally, I love the US Southwest. Check Photograph America for 100+ locations, just in the US, that have been worthy of a photography primer.

If you go to Travel Coffee Book, you'll see that beautiful pictures can be taken just about anywhere. If you're still not persuaded, The Photographer's Life will convince you. So will the photos in the Landscape and Travel Photography forum of Digital Photography Review, or any of the travel-related Challenges on that site.

If you can't find something lovely to shoot right in your own home town, you're not looking hard enough.
