I've been away from this thread way too long. Beautiful pictures! I was thinking about trading in my "Africa" lens (Tamron 150-600) since I probably won't be going back again, but now thinking I should take it to the baylands and see what I can find. And maybe head back to Africa. :-)

Those would be Rainbow Lorikeet, a type of Parrot that is very common along the eastern coast of Australia.
