Nice! Many people like to hate on selfie sticks, but that was the perfect use - not over the top, and a very good way to add some personality into these types of vids.

Guys, going to Bora Bora in a few weeks. Can anyone recommend some filters or accessories which will help take underwater shots?

Tried something a bit different in KUL last month. Put the camera on my bag and just let it run for the transit walk/train between KLIA and KLIA2. I think it came out pretty well.

Definitely grab a red filter and a pole. Th red filter will greatly improve your video/images as the red spectrum gets absorbed just a few feet into the water. Make sure to clean off bubbles before filming.

So, I've been a DSLR guy for a super long time. Off late, I find it a hassle to walk around with a bunch of camera bodies and a slew of lenses. More so, when I am back packing.

So, I just ordered a GoPro Silver 4. Thanks to the employer discount, I scored a good deal (around 25% less than the price on Amazon). Thats just the camera.

So, my question and the point of this post is, do you GoPro pros have any (cheaper the better) stick suggestion?

Also, another n00b-ish question. Does GoPro have a shutter release button on the stick? I'll be solo backpacking, so, selfies are a necessary evil.

Get a Gimbal. Feiyu Tech G4. Whilst not cheap, the footage is silky smooth.

Holy Bruce Wayne. That is more than the cost of the camera itself!

I followed up on Feiyu Tech G. While it is very impressive, its not for me right now
