This thread is to post cool travel and aviation videos. There are so many great travel and aviation videos out there, but not all of them deserve their own thread. I've posted two in the past that I felt did deserve their own thread and I'll start with those and several additional ones. If this thread takes off, I'll keep OP updated with a categorized listing of the best vids.

• Ok, this is a bit off-topic, but it's a hilarious retro look into how affinity/loyalty programs developed in the US: Raleigh Cigarettes Coupon Commercials
• The BBC offers an indepth look at a group of FTers with their own website/group FirstToFly.net as they ride the last scheduled SQ 744 SIN-HKG-SIN.
• A time-lapse/composite video of five hours worth of plane landings at SAN last Black Friday compressed into 30 seconds. Very cool.
• Riding "bicycle" through the airport on a moving walkway. Ha!
• Turkish Airlines' Kobe vs. Messi commercial
• DC Shoes: Robbie Maddison's Air.Craft - an insane video of all sorts of breath-taking dirt bike stunts through an airplane graveyard
• The excellent YouTube channel SpeedbirdHD puts out the exceptional Air to air from LAX plane spotting with a totally different perspective than normal as he plane-spots from a copter. (via FT user tenacioustins)
• Taking "over-entitled elite" to a new level, this Chinese Committee Member (political official) totally destroyed the gate check-in computers and desk area because he missed his flight, while police/security watched cringing. Fortunately, it's all on video. (via TravelBloggerBuzz)
• And Air New Zealand has done it again with an incredibly entertaining safety video by Bear Grylls and his lovely flight attendant sidekick. (via HackMyTrip)

I'll also give a shout-out to the Boeing YouTube channel as they have tons of great aviation vids. One of my favorites is listed above.

Best line in PetaPixel's writeup? "Even if you’re a diamond status frequent flier, seeing a straight-on view of the plane passing through clouds is completely different than what you see when staring out the small passenger windows." But I am a Diamond guest... so me and my giraffe should be allowed to ride in the cockpit... :-D

As a high school lacrosse team was waiting to board a flight to a Summer tournament, one athlete took it upon himself to sneak into the pre-board group for "young passengers". He thought he had beaten the system, but his coaches saw the whole thing go down. One hastily written speech and a nice bit of cooperation from the crew of Southwest Airlines Flight 592 later, this video was born.
