Many amazing shots in this thread! My hubby got some in Santorini recently and I though his were cool but lots of these are breathtaking. I think he needs to practice some more.

If he is happy with them and you are happy with them, that is what matters. Remember that many (but certainly not all) of the photos posted in this forum are taken by professional or serious hobbyist photographers. Practicing more is always a good idea but if he has no interest in becoming "A Photographer," being happy with what he gets is a good thing too.

Yeah, he is the kind of person that if he wanted it better he would work on it for sure. Tbh, I get a little antsy when he pulls his camera out and starts talking long exposure because it means I get to stand around and wait for him to frame things then do trial shots until he gets what he wants. But I appreciate the outcome.

A couple months ago in Iceland. Could have experimented a bit more, but damn, it was cold out there.

The northern Iceland town of Akureyri. It's a small town, but driving outside of those town lights still helps.

Where was that overhead shot of Westminster Bridge taken?

Is it a venue open to the public?

Wish they'd hurry up with the renovations to Houses of Parliament. I was in London in 2012 and last month and it's still not fully lit up.

That shot was from room 1223 at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge. It was from one of their Iconic view suites.
