20 seconds from my friends' apartment in Chicago
Chicago light streaks
Only 0.5 second, but it is enough to capture the motion
whirling dervishes
30 seconds-- I have found that both my current Nikon D7000 and former D80 seem to have red tints on my long exposure attempts. For this shot, I tried to play with my Kelvin temps to offset the redness in some of my earlier shots of the night. It was my first time ever messing with those functions. I was with a photography group, so someone lent me a sturdy tripod for a few shots and walked me through the menus. Although the coloring/lighting is still off, I do like the movement in the cloud cover.

Wow that the clearest I've seen Hong Kong in awhile. No haze or smog, clear skies.
What time of the year was that?
I've been to HK in January and November, when the smog was competing with fog/haze.
Was getting bloom in night shots because of the moisture in the air.
Then went up to Victoria's peak when it was a very windy night. Got some shots but not the best conditions.
