Weight of dog cage??
I am considering taking my dog with me,she is borderline weight for in cabin travell,what is the weight of a cage!!The limit would be 8 kg for dog and cage,I know there are lightweight soft cages,how much would they ad?

The most popular carrier is the "Sherpa Original". The large size weighs in at 1.87 kg.
Another very popular - and considerably lighter - carrier is the Sturdibag line. The large variant weights just 1.2 kgs.
If things get really tight (and some airlines like LH really enforce those limits and don't accept the animal when you're just 100g over), you can remove the straps.
