Petstay program in Las Vegas
Previously the only hotel on the vegas strip that allowed dogs was the Four Seasons. I heard that Mandalay Bay now has some pet rooms available and three more hotels in the Harrah's chain are allowing pets:

Caesars and the Imperial Palace are on the strip.
So now we have several options

There was an article on this program in the local paper today. The article also states the Rio participates and that Harrah's plans to expand to all of its properties by the end of the year. However, note that there is a limit of 50 lbs but no breed restriction.

There are a few restrictions. Dogs are allowed to be walked through designated common areas so long as they are on leashes and accompanied by owners. If dogs are left alone in a room, they must be crated. The hotels have crates on hand for rental.
Guests pay $20 extra each night for the Rio and Imperial Palace, and $25 extra a night for Caesars. The cost includes several in-room amenities, such as food and water bowls, a mat, disposable waste bags and dog treats. It also covers the cost of maintaining and preparing each pet room.

Heading to Flamingo
We're heading to the Flamingo with the pooch and, in FT tradition, I'm gonna pitch for an upgrade using the http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/las-v...very-well.html.
I figure if I book a FAB Deluxe the worst that can happen is I get told "no upgrades to PetStay" and charged $50 per night. Yup, PetStay is now a $50 per night surcharge at all the Vegas Caesars Properties.
The best? We get a suite with official canine approval. (Listen what he says at the last second of the video!)
Experiences anyone?
