Business Insider: Airbus A380plus to have 80 more seats

Airbus has redesigned the A380 and calls it the A380plus. They have fit in 80 new seats by making the following changes:
  • Split winglets for 4% more fuel efficiency
  • Grand staircase replaced with a space-efficient version
  • Pilot's rest quarters moved together with FA rest area
  • Removing the side storage bins in business class
  • Premium economy in a 3-3-3 configuration
  • Economy in a 3-5-3 configuration
