Boeing: Remembering an 'Incredible' legend
Statement from Boeing on the passing of Joe Sutter: http://www.boeing.com/commercial/joe...e?sf34729028=1
A huge tip of the wing to the father of the 747, Joe Sutter, who passed today.
It was Joe who brought us the Queen of the Skies which for many a little boy and girl (myself included) was the thing that drew us to aviation in the first place.
To this day it is the 747 that I'm immediately drawn to at any international airport and always steals the show next to other planes.
Happy Contrails Mr. Sutter
