Telegraph: 47 year layover

The banter between the people at SkyScanner & this guy is pretty great. Good to see a sense of humor & the suggestions of what to do with the time.

This reminds me when Google Maps suggests "Kayaking across the Pacific Ocean" back in 2009, even thought it probably won't take 47 years to cover 2756 miles:

There was also a similar trip across the Atlantic at one point.

I believe Google Maps asks folks to swim across those 3,462 miles:

Not sure how long it would take Michael Phelps to swim across Atlantic.

I can't find any eggs left going from the US at least. There's also apparently some missing data as it won't let me go to Rio--something that I believe is possible with the use of a ferry.

If you're looking for suggestions on what to do, you should ask Mehran Karimi Nasseri

sounds like travel for immortals, stopover for a few decades/centuries/millennia, why not

or groundhog day scenario, stuck in a time loop and can't get your connecting flight out
