CNN: Human Trafficking through airports
Because we all travel so much, please read this article and watch the video within. It's real and it's important. Maybe we can help.

I agree that most are NOT moved through airports. But it does happen. There are plenty of documented cases of those who have been discovered and rescued from airports. Of course, that number reflects that fact that it does happen. It also reflects that the ones found are most likely a very small percentage of those that are moved via air.

I'm sure there are statistics out there, but whether trafficking through air travel is 70% or 50% or 10% of the means of transport, it's a part of the overall problem and certainly deserves attention.

Most of the undocumented, non-European migrants in the EU come in by air and are overstays. My bet is that a subsatantial portion of those voluntarily trafficked into the EU come in by air.

Most of the involuntary trafficking is also by air which is mostly made up of sex trafficking.
