CNBC: Which credit cards do the wealthiest prefer? Only 22% want a FF rewards card

What do affluent Americans want in a credit card?

Turns out it's not so different from what the rest of the country wants: cash back. Sixty percent of credit card holders with investable assets of $100,000 or more say cash back is their favorite credit card perk, according to a new CreditCards.com survey. Just 22 percent said they preferred frequent flier miles.

Duh! Cash back means you can buy whatever you want with it.

If you don't travel often or you can afford to just flat out pay for business/first class fares everywhere why would you need points haha. I guess just for fun?

So, investable assets of $100,000 or more and a rewards card get's me in CNBC's "the wealthiest affluent Americans" club? I feel so important now. DYKWIA I can see where I wont be needing any FF points now with all my new found wealth.

I agree; I suspect there are many millions of people falling into that category. Maybe, it should be $1,000,000 (but, even then, that's still a LOT of people). I, too, am now so proud that I am one of "the wealthiest affluent Americans" even though I am very middle class financially.
