KLM Royal Dutch Airlines celebrates its 95th anniversary Tuesday October 7, 2014
HAPPY BIRTHDAY KLM 
KLM Royal Dutch Airlines will celebrate its 95th anniversary on Tuesday October 7, 2014, and to mark this milestone, will be unveiling a special ‘KLM 95 years’ logo on one of its MD-11 aircraft; as well as laying the first stone for a new KLM lounge at Amsterdam Schiphol, and presenting a new KLM Delftware miniature house.
The ‘KLM 95 years’ logo will be unveiled by Camiel Eurlings, President & CEO of KLM, on 7 October. The logo will feature on one of KLM’s MD-11 aircraft, and for the duration of KLM’s anniversary, will appear on one aircraft of each type in KLM’s intercontinental fleet.

Happy Birthday KLM!
When I lived in Nigeria for a couple of years, there was no more welcome sight than a blue A330 with the crown on the tail - my escape pod back to civilization.
Though my current travel patterns don't present opportunities to add to my fifty-something huisje collection, I am looking forward to trying out the new WBC when possible.
P.S. Still missing the NW/KLM tieup. SkyTeam seems at war with itself now that DL is the neighborhood bully.
