LA Times: Air Hollywood classes for travelers with fear of flying
Los Angeles Times article:
Air Hollywood film studio offers classes for travelers with fear of flying
http://www.msn.com/en-us/travel/news...ing/ar-BB7e7dd
I wonder if they have any breakout sessions for topics such as:
- Overcoming body image issues when going through airport scanners.
- How to handle the Knee Defender fisticuffs happening beside you in Economy Class.
- Air Sickness Bag etiquette / Do you hand it to the FA after hurling?

It seems like people who have a legitimate fear of flying were happy with the classes. Interestingly there are classes for flying with pets and families with autism.
As the article points out: fatalities on major commercial flights in the U.S. are exceedingly rare compared to highway accidents but do people actively avoid automobile travel after getting into an accident?

Not when everyone thinks they're an above-average driver! You don't quite have as much control when you're flying
