Nation’s Airlines Improve in On-Time Performance and Cancellations for July

For those flying in July, you were more likely to have gotten to your destination on time than in previous months and fewer flights were cancelled.

Ironically, my only delays and cancellations were in July.

Airline flights in the United States brought more passengers to their destinations on time in July and cancelled fewer flights than in recent months.

The U.S. Department of Transportation released figures for the nation’s largest airlines on Wednesday showing that 75.6% of flights arrived on time in July, an increase compared to 73.1% in July 2013 as well as to 71.8% in June of this year....
