American Airlines pilot angry with delay

I guess it was over the weekend and American flight and another flight had to be escorted to a remote location because of celieved terrorist threat. They wouldnt tel the pilot what was going on so he got a tad pissed.

I don't blame him a bit. He carries a lot of responsibility, he should be completely in the loop when something such as this occurs.

That is correct that they would tell anyone, including the flight crew. Until checked and secure, they don't know who is involved with the reported threat.
