A puff piece, evidently written by a non-FF for non-FFs. I stopped reading after this: "Though I'll put up with a lot of discomfort if I don't have to pay $8 CAN to use the TV."
Really?

Just got back on non stop, coach Munich to
LAX. While the food was superior to domestic airlines, I am still trying to get circulation into my legs from the incredibly small coach area(and I am rather short). When the passenger in front of me adjusted his seat, I commented that we hardly knew each other to be so intimate...Absolutely no credibility to this list with LH ranked so high...

These articles are some of the progenitors of the trolling community.
Is someone going to read this and think, ya, I want to go to these countries just to fly economy class? Or, relocating because it an airline is ranked so highly? I hope not, particularly because next year, the list will be different (even if the arguments are the same).
Besides, if you're flying domestically in some places, what choices do you have, bad or worse? That's where FT users come in...flying internationally solely to avoid flying domestically, or something to that effect.

Obviously the survey is not scientific and a cheap filler. However, if you read the comments about LH, they are accurate as far as they go. LH short haul is a good product in Y. The food is good, the interior is clean and modern and the seat comfortable. I've not flown many of the others, but I would support the comments about AC and BA also but I'm not so sure about Virgin Atlantic on which my one experience was not good for a number of reasons.

This article has come up as "evidence" in another thread. Another poster stated Emirates was fairly well regarded w.r.t Economy seating. I queried this, by mentioning how I thought they crammed an extra column of seats in on some aircraft and this survey came back at me as their evidence (that, and an article written by a pilot where he cites a number of airlines as having a good y product)
