What will happen if the US Airways-AA merger occurs?

So, I'm actually against this merger but if it happens, what will happen?
Pros, Cons?
Vote if you want or don't want the merger

Pro: US helps fill AA's void in the SE with CLT. Which by the way, is pretty bad. Unless you're flying cross country, it's practically impossible to find a fare competitive flight on American.

Good evening,

a) This really isn't a "Travel News story" per Welcome to Travel News: What should be posted here & what should be posted elsewhere?

b) If you wish to have people to "vote," please do so in the a thread on FlyerTalk; the purpose of FlyerTalk is to be a community sharing information, not to drive people to other sites.

c) There are already threads on this topic in the US and AA forums and I would urge that discussion be done on one of those.

Thanks,
