Yes, unfortunately, it wasn't good enough due to trouble the financial problems. That's why MX is still losing the money all of the times. It was not their own fault to saving the operating costs. It was so terrible airlines and it does not have more extra carefully to keep the operating costly down. It wasn't real big concerns. I believe there is no choice to cease operations by noon tomorrow. It will stop flying to USA and it won't necessary to save the airlines and it wasn't supposed to save the money for the future. Why can't be cutbacks all few routes?
What is exactly gonna do for the entire aircraft will returns back to lessors?
At least those greedy pilots will be out of a job!
They can now apply in the real world for new job at industry standard pay and at the bottom of the seniority list.
There are similarities to how Ansett went belly up.
ANSETT-
Long history airline, enjoyed duopoly with Qantas-TAA for many years
Suddenly LCCs come (Impulse, Virgin Blue)
A/c get grounded
Enter bankruptcy
Tried to restructure into an Ansett Mk 2
Failed and ceased ops
MEXICANA-
Long history airline, enjoyed duopoly with Aeromexico for many years
Suddenly LCCs come (Volaris, Interjet)
A/c get grounded/ reposessed
Enter bankruptcy
Tried to restructure by shifting everything to Click and Link
Failed and ceased ops
Now thinking about it is it almost eerily similar.
