Electric Breast Pump in Carry On in Europe

My wife, infant, and I will travel to Europe shortly. We are bringing a small electric breast pump with us (a compact Purely Yours, nothing huge). I am curious whether anyone has traveled with one in carry-on luggage in Europe (without having to put it in the check-in luggage). I am asking because regulations in the US and EU are different as far as carry-on items are concerned. Once, I had a camping item confiscated from my carry on in Paris which TSA in the US had considered perfectly safe just 8 hours earlier. Any experiences with pumps in Europe (the EU portion of it)?

There is no problem with a breast pump in carry-on luggage in Europe. Paris can be a little special sometimes, but not on something like that.
