Maclaren's website says the twin triumph is a compact umbrella fold stroller, according to about.com 'An umbrella stroller is a lightweight, folding baby stroller that usually features upside-down-J-shaped handles similar to the handle on an umbrella'

Thanks for starting this thread. I'm also interested in knowing how strict Air Canada is with their stroller policy. I'm planning to buy a lightweight umbrella-type stroller for my upcoming trip to Brazil and I've been researching on lightweight strollers to see which one fits our needs. We need something that is light, folds to conform with Air Canada's stroller policy, can recline, and a travel bag is available to hold the stroller. I've narrowed my options down to the following four strollers:

Peg Perego Pliko Mini
weight: 12.5 lbs.
folded size: 37"x13"x12"

Chicco Capri
11 lbs.
folded size: 42"x10"x8"

Maclaren Triumph
11 lbs.
folded size: 41"x10"

UPPAbaby G-Luxe
11 lbs.
folded size: 42"x16"x12"

But as you can see, none of the above strollers will meet the folded length & diameter requirements. And these are some of the lightest premium umbrella strollers available in the market (not including the cheap no-name strollers that are out there).

So which brand has been known to be accepted by Air Canada? Is there a thread with a list of brands/models that are most accepted by Air Canada or other airlines in general?
