for fun: Which airlines have the best children's activity kits?

British Airways is advertising its Paddington Bear kits, but I have been told that they don't always have enough for the children in economy. My friend who flew Swiss Air recently was given cards and rubics cubes for each of her children.

Which airlines has had fun stuff for the kids, and had it consistently? :)

Lately KE has been giving out a little drawstring backpack with a sticker book and a small airplane-shaped doodlepro tablet, even in coach. We fly ORD-ICN, so that may not be system-wide.

At this point, I think my son has a least a half-dozen of them. When he was an infant, he got a baseball-sized plush airplane (cartoonish, obviously, but clearly a 747 and in livery). It's one of those ones that has a pull string that makes it vibrate. Not sure if that was what they gave out to all kids at the time, or if they still have something different they give to very small kids.

My daughter got a similar plush airplane when we flew QR, we got 4, one for each leg of the trip :) I don't know what they were offering for older children but another child seemed more interested in her baby sister's airplane!

When we flew Swiss in Europe last my daughter got a jigsaw on both legs :)

On VS kids get a bag with goodies in which the last time we flew with them was given out in the terminal building before boarding although my daughter was to young for one at the time :/ Although if the airline kits are anything like the ones Virgin Trains offer then they'd be quite good, we're due to fly with VS later this month so i'll know more in due course!

KLM has a pretty good paper box of games-- 2-3 little decks of cards, a booklet of puzzles, and the box turns into snakes and ladders.

Last year Malaysia Airlines had a plane and paper dolls you punched out of the kids' dinner box...
