Wildcard at LIH airport (Kauai, HI)

Wildcard at LIH airport (Kauai, HI)
I don't have much expereince renting with Thrifty, except for one trip in Reno where I rented a 'wildcard' class car and drove off in a convertible.
I made a 'wildcard' class reservation for my upcoming trip to Kauai. I arrive at LIH airport at 9 PM, and will go straight to the rental car station. Can someone comment on odds of wildcard being successful for a nice car in Hawaii? My weekly rate is approx $75 more than Avis midsize, so I'm really doing it in hopes for an upgrade.
