Getting to the airport on King's Day

Considering a flight out of BKK which is on December 5th which is King's Day. Would you recommend catching a flight before 10am to avoid traffic issues?

It's a holiday so there shouldn't be much in the way of extraordinary traffic issues.

Can't really see any issues other than there will be no traffic whatsoever, especially given it is a Monday this year.

I have spent many American Thanksgiving holidays in SE Asia, and flew back on King's birthday, and it was always just like any other day for air travel.

You shouldn't see any abnormal traffic issues on that day.

With it being on a Monday and thus making a long weekend, there will be an exodus from Bangkok on Friday night / Saturday as everyone heads up country, and the same thing on Monday as they all come back. So I would expect some inbound roads to be bad from lunch time onwards.
