Bangkok Mattress Run

Hi all,

Given the Park Plaza promotion, I was planning to do a one-night mattress run while I am already in Bangkok. I already have reservations at the Sheraton Royal Orchid. I would like to check in/out of the Park Plaza while I'm around. Is there any issue with being registered at two hotels for a night with regards to the immigration authorities?

Had two bookings on the same day a couple of times in the past and never had any problems with that

This is BKK you're talking about. I'm certain there are many people who check into two hotels in one night.

Immigration authorities ask for the first night's stay and nothing more. I'm not even sure they attempt to follow where someone's been.

I've been registered at two hotels before and stayed in myriad places around the country that don't even ask for any ID, just cash for a room. I've also stayed at friends' apts and my in-laws house, not to mention my own apt for quite some time.

You've nothing to worry about.

Agreed. I don't see why immigration would care if you were booked in two hotels...

Unless you tell them in your arrival card and look highly suspicious.
