Intercontinental v Banyan Tree

Intercontinental v Banyan Tree
I usually stay at the IC but this time the rates are quite different:

IC Club Room $258 US a night
Banyan Tree Club Room $138 US a night

I couldn't find too many opinions of the Banyan Tree on FT. How is the club room there? With such a big price difference I don't expect it to be as good as the IC but I am just wondering how much worse it is.

I always get an upgrade to club at the IC in BKK, as a RA, and pay less than the Banyan rate you listed. Of course, if you're not RA, this does you no good.

I believe you can do much better than this Sadiqhassan , there are so many other choices in that price range. The Banyan Tree is not as nice as it used to be....
