updates on flooding in Southern Thailand

Does anyone know where I can get accurate updates about the rains and flooding in Southern Thailand? Barely made it out of Hat Yai yesterday and now trying to figure out which parts of the southern beaches will be safe and wet/dry.

Saw a map in the Bangkok Post today indicating that the entire Gulf coast south of, but not including, Nakhon Si Thammarat was considered a disaster area. There was mention of another 6 southern provinces being listed as well but I didn't catch if they mentioned any other by name.

We were in Hat Yai in November 2010 a few days after the floods hit and it was an absolute mess. Glad you were able to get out when you did.
