water quality in hotels

I have noticed reports about discolored and putrid tap water in Bangkok due to contamination of the water supply with flood waters, and am wondering about water quality in hotels. Do some hotels have filtration systems so that showers, pools etc can still be used?

Any pool without a filtration system would become a pea soup colour within days.
As for drinking water the Thai PM today gave assurances tap water meets standard.
She also said a week ago though that Bangkok would not flood.

The MWA today reiterated that Bangkok tap water is up to WHO standards.

I find there is quite a bit of variability based on location, but am currently in the north (Phrae) so can’t comment on the current situation.
