Vienna does nothing for me, as OS already has very good Business Class and is a direct Star Alliance flight.

But, I guess it is an important market for TG to capture for business and leisure. If 777-200 has old business class, clearly they must mainly be targeting the leisure market. It also could be a nice connection option to other cities in Europe serviced by OS. Airport in VIE is user friendly.

I hope A350 for wide body fleet. I am no fan of 787. I am indifferent about A319/A320 vs 737. But perhaps TG could get better pricing by ordering all Airbus, or all Boeing?

LAX or SFO would have been better.

i thought the 777-200ER will be upgraded to full flat soon, so it is competitive with OS

agree that VIE is easy for transit

However I do not think it will be competitive for transit to other destinations, as it is cheaper to go with OS all the way then to change in VIE from TG to other carriers

The first flight for BKK-VIE is scheduled on 30 October 2017.

I think TG should buy A319 for 2 narrow body fleet.

Good to hear that 777-200ER will be updated with the new J product.

Perhaps not competative for connections purchased as a single ticket, but if TG had low fares ex BKK, could always add a separately purchased connection on OS. Anyway if connecting I prefer the 744 or A380 flights that have F.

TG really has excellent coverage in Europe, which only seems to be expanding.

tg 937 777-300?

For a booking in December 2017, Thai website, UA and expertflyer all show it as a 777-300 with 1-2-1, fully lie flat
Any ideas on which is correct? 777-200 or 777-300ER?

I second that!

I also second or third that! Would very much prefer 359 over 789.

Non stop BKK-SFO would be preferable over LAX

Los Angeles has the largest Thai population outside of Asia, as an estimated 66% of all Thai Americans (~130,000) reside in the LA area.

- Wider cabin, but since I don't fly economy, it really doesn't matter that much.

- I dislike the electronic dimming of the windows. It doesn't totally black-out the lights.

- I just love the looks of the 359!
