TG Domestic Departures/Arrivals HKT (Phuket)

Do all HKT-BKK-HKT flights arrive & depart from the old terminal at HKT these days? Also, is there parking there are does one have to schlep over from the new multi-storey adjacent to the new terminal? Thanks.

UA award on Thai: My name with United is set 100% correctly. My booking with Thai lists my name as <first name><middle name> <last name> with no space between first and middle name so say my name was John Daniel Smith it is Johndaniel Smith with Thai. Am I going to have any issues?

No issues. That's the normal way for many airlines to write it.

Anyone? The reason I ask (what my seem a “dumb” question) is that TG has such sway with AOT that I would (hope) that TG uses the new terminal & not the dump that is the old - now domestic - terminal. Thanks.

Both. It depends on what type of passenger you are. If you are a domestic passenger, you will use the domestic terminal for arrival and departure. If you are international connecting passenger, you will use the international terminal for arrival and departure. Same flight, two different departure gates and two different baggage claim areas.

There is parking at the domestic terminal last time I checked.

Those services of TG are not so consistent. Recently in FRA (flying F to BKK) i was even escorted from arriving plane (on separate tickets and only in Y), CDG last year nothing, in ZRH this morning, they do not have F anymore on this route but have escorted Platinum member in the past, nobody was waiting...

Sorry for the late update, being busy after the trip.

We landed at KIX with first to alight as F pax ofcoz, but the advantage was gone minutes later as while waiting for the train to the main building, J and Y pax catches up, luckily though there are almost zero pax queuing at the immigration counter when we get there. Much like MR BinSabai suggested ~ phew .... then we manage to catch the high speed boat to kobe on time.

On the return flight, SOP F check in counter and get to use the "not so fast" fast track, not sure if it's for *A gold too as I didn't see any logo around it. Super regret visiting the TG lounge, it was so packed and messy with pathetic refreshment and it's a total waste of time, should have just ignore it and head for the ANA lounge located not far from our departure gate, only a few pax there, F&B selection are so much better, they even have toilet and a smoking room.

And yes, nil arrival and departure ground service for F in KIX.

thanks for the update! mostly as expected. I did not even know that TG has an own Lounge in KIX (for just two flights per day...); i usually head for the ANA Lounge anyway in Japan

Both, but it's irrelevant where it physically parks as you'll be directed to use the appropriate terminal anyway.

Many thanks for clarification. I will be (unusually for me) a purely domestic pax so will be using old terminal it seems

Firefox and domestic+international boooking

Firstly, can"t book with Thai Airway website using MOzilla Firefox.
Thus try with MS Edge.
Neither can I book domestic UTH to BKK and onward to BRU
No problem booking ex BKK
I know Thai does not have daily flights to BRU, carefully selected dates such as 20 april to 20 may 2018, changed dates around both directions, get

ERROR

start over

Yes, absolutely, OZ and TG are both Star Alliance members.

It would be best to input your OZ frequent flyer number at the time of booking, or by going online at TG's website and accessing your reservation with your name and PNR. Then, at check in, the number should automatically appear on your boarding pass. If it does not, you can have the check in agent add it.

But, the simple answer to your question is yes. You can provide your OZ number at check in and receive credit.
