Question:
I'm *Gold
I've booked BKK-LHR (TG 910) in Y (H class I think). I see on Expertflyer that a number of seats upstairs are blocked, but availaable. Namely Row 80 A/B 80J/K How can select one of those seats? Website wont let me, and Amex says they can't either.

Yes. They are 'exit rows' and so are held back and will be allocated by airport staff on check-in. Same with most bulkhead seats.

Of course, THAI may still allocate these seats to VIP/TIP as they wish

I've never seen PJ's on Thai or any airline in XXL.

Just to confirm, those seats don't open up at T-24 for OLCI, rather, only a agent at the airport can assign to me?

Thai does have XL and they may have XXL too. I am 182cm, and weigh 90Kg, and the L are big enough for me so the XL will fit a reasonably big frame.

ah well, I'll bring my own comfort clothes in case they do not fit

new question.. I fly HKT - BKK in C and continue from BKK in F, Can I then use the seating reserved for first class in the lounge in Phuket?

question 2 (not really TG related): is it possible to use/ pay for entry for the pool at BKK Novotel if you don't have a room there? I have 8 hours between flights at BKK. Just to short for going to Bangkok and to long to sit in the FCL all that time.

If I book a TG codeshare flight operated by MH, where should I base my earnings? It is correct to check with TG earning table?

I recently just flew Thai F/C product to SYD and up to NRT. I have to say I was HIGHLY impressed with their Lounge and their F/C product. I had read several reviews online about Thai, most poked fun of them and held Singapore Air in such high regard compared to them. I'm hear to say that I think Thai is MUCH better than Singapore airlines. I've flown Singapore first, CX first and Thai First. I have to say Thai was most impressive to me. The customer service that was delivered was unmatched to the others. Some may say that the Thai FC lounge is "hokie" however I would have to disagree. I couldn't get a foot massage at the CX lounge showing up 3 hours in advance and singapore doesn't have any massage services. Thai went out of their way to accomodate me. They gave me a "45" minute/60 minute massage because I was running late for my flight.

The employees at Thai Airlines went above and beyond for me in so many ways. I can't even begin to tell you how impressive they were. They are trying, hard, not so much at CX or SQ. Many thanks to all the ground and air employees at Thai Airways. Your commitment to service is unmatched to any other in the industry.

it is always the frequent flyer program, that determines what credit you get!

1) Previously yes but this only existed in the International lounge so you also had to check-in for the international flight in Phuket. You now need to check-in at the new International terminal so who knows what awaits, I can't even find out how we CIQ passengers get to the domestic gate. It also seems that you may need to allow 2-3 hours for immigration in Phuket such is the shambles there. You should in theory, as F, be escorted through the VIP channel.

2) There are flights nearly every hour HKT - BKK, why do you want to be in BKK for 8 hours? You cannot leave 'airside' in BKK if you have done immigration in Phuket.
