Smile BKK-HKT on the 773 ... which one?

Hi Guys,

I am flying BKK-HKT next month on the 777-300, as we all know its impossible to tell from T's online booking which particular aircraft will do the flight ... Any way of telling if its the 777-300 or 300ER (new with lie flat J seats)

Would be good if it was the 300ER, im booked in J class and even thoughts its only just over an hour would be great to try them out! But then again what are the odds TG would put one of these a/c on such a short route...

When you step on the plane you'll know. I had BKK-HKT vv flights which had showed 747 and 773 and I ended up sitting on the A300 both times (kinda fun in a kitschy way).

You can check by looking to the seat map on the online system when you do a dummy booking.

I didn't think you could do advance for domestic TG flights until check in time.

And even then at check T24 HKT-BKK I had a seat in the nose of the 747 and then got to the airport and told we would "be flying on a smaller plane today".

+1000

I got the 773ER on this route when it was scheduled for the 330.

It's such a short flight it really doesn't matter.

Well, you might as well spin an Aircraft wheel-of-fortune giving how notorious TG is on swapping aircraft...

As previous posters have stated: This is TG and you might get every aircraft in TG`s fleet except the 380, on the short trip to HKT

Whenever we fly TG on domestic hops to HKT/CNX me and my GF bets on what aircraft we will get. Is is more fun that way
