Tokyo Typhoon and a broken 787
Today's TG683 is not doing well, initially the only flight not cancelled or delayed as a typhoon went over Tokyo the plane now has a mechanical problem which has created rolling delays.
The most frustrating thing is the drip feed of information - telling us all morning that the flight would leave on schedule then a succession of content free announcements that the flight was delayed before giving up at 12:55 and announcing a delay till 8pm. Then at letting us know at 7:15 that they would not make an 8:00pm departure and we will now be transferred to a midnight 20 flight.
