No Priority Tags
I was flying out of LHR on Thai and at check in, when I presented my bags, the check in agent said they didn't have any more priority tags and didn't put one on. I pointed out there was a huge stack nearby but she said those were only for TK. Also, she didn't put in my FF number before checking the bags so they definitely won't receive priority. Anything I should do?

I know Qantas no longer use priority tags on domestic flights but your priority status is encoded on the barcode on your luggage tag and you still get your bags off first.
With increased mechanisation the use of priority tags should be redundant but I think airlines are largely retaining them to maintain the perception in the passenger's mind they are receiving a preferential benefit not available to all travellers.
I would be interested to hear from OP if their bags did come off early at the other end?
