BKK-SGN downguaged to 734

I was looking to book a flight for next month & surprise: it's a 734 on both daily flights. I've not seen a 734 in SGN in at least a decade. How AWFUL.

Thai mainline don't have any A320's as far as I know, so has this segment been downgraded to Thai smile as well?

Hmm, geeze Thai's 'strategy' or lack thereof seems all over the place at the moment. Not selling any J seats so likely a Thai Smile plane.

The old Thai switcheroo once again. I had seat 14b, now I've been jammed into 33k. Que Bueno.
