Q: Which routes have full flat seats in Royal Silk?
A: Only the Airbus A380-800, A350-900, Boeing 777-300ER, 787-8 and 787-9 feature full flat seats in Royal Silk. The A380 is used on the following routes: LHR, CDG, FRA, HKG, KIX and NRT.
The B777-300ER regularly serves these destinations: OSL, CPH, ARN, FRA, BRU, ZRH, VIE, SIN, PVG, PEK, MEL and BNE. It also regularly flies domestic runs to HKT and CNX.
Q: Which routes get the new 747 «suites»?
A: Any route which is scheduled to be operated by a Boeing 747 might see the new «suites», but some routes are more likely to get them (but not guaranteed). These routes are: MUC, HKG, HND and SYD. Flights to HKT are often operated by the them, although these flights are without First class service.
Q: What are the chances of ending up on one of the old Boeing 747s with recliner seats in Royal First and Silk?
A: 0 %. All Boeing 747s have been converted and feature full flat seats in Royal First and angle flat seats in Royal Silk. Every seat in Economy also features a PTV with AVOD and AC power (every two seats).
Q: To which destinations do TG offer Royal First?
A: LHR, CDG, FRA, MUC, HKG, KIX, NRT, HND and SYD. Flights to PEK and PVG have "seasonal" (rather occasional) F service.
Q: Which version of the Boeing 777 features Royal First?
A: None. TG leased a handful of Boeing 777-300ERs from Indian Jet Airways a few years ago, that had eight enclosed first class suites. These aircraft have been returned to Jet Airways and are no longer in the fleet.
Q: Which destinations are served by wifi enabled planes?

If you look at the above video at 0:40, you will clearly see that seat 2A/K and 3A/K are larger (notice they have space for the flower vase next to the IFE screen). The middle suites are all narrow but the throne seat still has better shoulder space when compared to 3E/3F.

Nope. But it is very easy to see. Row 2 and 3 are wider at the elbow and shoulder area. There is extra space next to the screen to install the flower vase. Compare that to seat 3E/F in the middle!
The seat itself, of course, is nearly identical but your total private space is clearly different depending on where you're seated.

Nope. But it is very easy to see. Row 2 and 3 are wider at the elbow and shoulder area. There is extra space next to the screen to install the flower vase. Compare that to seat 3E/F in the middle!
The seat itself, of course, is nearly identical but your total private space is clearly different depending on how you're seated.

I guess that actually dimensions of the seat is exactly the same in each suite but you have more stowage beside the window in seats 2 and 3 A/K
in the middle seats you can't bang your head as there is no overhead bin
I think also on the A380 suites at the window are slightly bigger than in the middle, but the overhead bin are above the middle seats

747 All Series New F Configuration - Couple Seating
So I'll be flying F class for the first time on Thai Airways from BKK-KIX in a 747 in January and I'm looking to select seats for us. Based on what I've read, it seems like rows 2 have the most space individually, but from pictures, it looks like the single seat in the middle blocks the two window seats from talking to each other. Can anyone confirm?
If that's the case would people suggest the 1A/1K since it's right at the nose of the plane and the seats are quite close, or to sit in the middle 2 seats in row 3?

for couples I would recommend 1A/1K or one window and one adjacent middle seat; but 1A/K is best
