Mushroom soup, prawn cakes (tod maan plaa), and roast duck noodle. So, i was not starving anyway.

Absolutely love flying Thai, pity this time the service wrap did not help.

FRA should have gound services to meet passengers. A few weeks ago was met by FRA ground services. BRU is a different story, a gaggle of people meet the plane, but no one is interested in F passengers.

The ground handling in FRA is not done by TG directly. I am not sure if it is FRAPORT, but defenitely a 3rd party. The agents carry a tag saying "Premium Servce" and not wearing TG uniforms.

Thats what my previous experience was as well, but no one from premium service was there this time. I guess BRU is like LHR, also nothing but then thats what I exect when I arrive at LHR. The absence of the service in FRA threw me off a bit.

IMO the BEST thing in that First lounge is the Moo Yang khao neow - grilled pork with sticky rice. The dipping sauce is very authentic, and now whenever I turn up they know and order it for me along with my perrier.

LOVE it.

I am not Thai so will excuse myself. In the end fish or prawn, both are sea creatures and the seafood cakes were very nice.

Has anyone heard anything about the FRA premium serices? I really wonder why they were not there last saturday. I will ask when i check in for the first 380 departure from FRA on Sunday.

Since no one knowledgable has answered this yet I guess I'll give it a go...

From reading this board I think it refers to some kind of big-wig (or perceived big-wig) in the Thai world who obnoxiously demands more service than others and even has seats blocked for them in F on the chance that they might want a seat on that flight. I'm guessing the acronym is a take on VIP and stands for "Thai Important Person".

Am I right?
