Using GUP but putting miles into OZ

Hey guys, I'm a ROP *G and have a couple of GUP. Will likely to travel to Europe soon and using the GUPs from Y to J. Can I credit my Y
miles to OZ as I am trying to get lifetime gold there. Cheers

Sure, as long as the original booking class is Q or higher, which it has to be anyways in order to use the GUP. I did it last year with my GUP, and my miles were credited to my OZ account within a few days.
