I lot of cock is talked about TG. Just did FRA-BKK-FRA on HS-TUB and wifi'd throughout. Was perfect. Just didn't function where the fly-over territory prohibited it.

I went unlimited and caned it. Total cost 70usd. I was bored so I thought it was worth it.
Superb ^ Only wish they could make it complimentary for F 70USD sounds steep!

I was REALLY using it, picture sending etc and apps. So probably high end. 7 bucks an hour for inflight wifi feels ok. There are capped tariffs also, broadly in line with competition. Don't let others tell you otherwise

In comparison Lufthansa is 9 EUR for 2 hours or 15 EUR for 24 hours, EK is based on how many MB as opposed to time (IIRC ~8 USD for 100 MB).

I typically find in 2 hours I can get everything done I need to.

$70 for wifi feels pretty expensive to me. How many bored passengers would spend the same amount (or $7 per hour even) to use the IFE and watch movies? At the end of the day it comes down to two each their own I guess.

The last time I flew the TG A380 I was in F ^ and there was no way I was ever going to be that bored...

Sometimes you can get complimentary free Wifi cards on THAI. Unfortunately, maybe available only for VIPs, Thai Tv stars, famous models etc.
