Silver, and very nice. They are like the ones LH were doing last year.

Got them on TG471 to SYD today, but got the old one from CDG on Friday. Crew on TG471 said first time they had seen them as well. You still have to ask for eyemasks and ear plugs but can't have everything, I suppose.

Have the contents been upgraded as well? Do they contain a moisturiser? I was dismayed to receive the old style kit and finding the closest thing was en Evian face spray..

Yep, they have a 15ml tube of La Maxima Body Lotion, which is listed as Hand Lotion on the new contents card. The Evian Facial Spray is replaced by a much smaller La Maxima one and there is also now a 10ml bottle of La Maxima Eau de Cologne.

Very interesting!

Does anyone know if they (will) have this on BKK-NRT?

Yes. Flew it yesterday..... but don't get why people like this. Cheap container in cheap cellophane with marginal contents. I've never seen an amenity kit I liked.

I liked the old TG Hermes kit. And Asiana's Bvlgari stuff. And SQ's Ferragamo.

I got a Rimowa kit before on LH F and felt the same way about it - it's cheaply made and not really sturdy or durable, hardly good marketing for the luggage.

Thanks guys for updating. I usually do J on the last flight out at night at BKK which is a two cabin, so it seems I'll be doing an F class on an earlier flight this time around.

As for why people like it, I guess as far as I'm concerned, it's a bit of a collector item specially for those of us with a sizeable selection of the actual Rimowa luggage.

+1

I took LH F a few times and still didn't get one!

I asked the Rimowa dealership in Toronto and she managed to get me one.^

Now looking forward to get my TG Rimowa kit at my booked BKK-CDG in F.

Just flew ZRH-BKK and BKK-FCO in F.. got the old one on the first flight, and the new Rimowa kit on the 2nd one. There are no socks or eyeshades in the Rimowa kit. They had to come around to each pax separately and offer socks. But no eyeshades. And still, no earplugs. It looks cool. It's definitely an improvement from the looks aspect, but the stuff inside just falls short. They are clueless as to what pax need.
